For Immediate Release: A.J. Reed Steps Down as REX Baseball Head Coach

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 24, 2021


TERRE HAUTE, IN – A.J. Reed will be stepping down as the REX Baseball Head Coach.Wabash Valley Baseball, LLC, the ownership group of REX Baseball, would like to thank Reed for bringing his experience to the 2021 season and leading Wabash Valley’s Own.


“I would like to thank A.J. for stepping in, with late notice, to coach the REX for the 2021 season. We appreciated his time here and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” said General Manager Bruce Rosselli.


Reed commented on his decision to step down, “I have decided to step down as Head Coach of the REX due to personal reasons and pursuing other career opportunities. I’d like to thank the REX and the REX fans for a great summer and wish them luck in the upcoming seasons.”


REX Baseball wishes A.J. Reed and his family the best in their future and we hope to see them in the stands at Bob Warn Field in 2022.


REX Baseball will begin the search for the next Head Coach effective immediately.
