Player Spotlight: Brigham Booe returns to REX for second season.

Last month, REX Baseball announced the signing of pitcher Brigham Booe to the roster. The 6’1” and 210 pound sophomore out of Olney Central College is returning to REX Baseball for his second season. The right handed hurler attended Northview High School and was a varsity player for the Knights. Booe is a pitcher, but is also a solid fielder and batter that can be used in other situations off the mound.

During his junior and senior years at Northview, he had at least one at-bat in thirty-seven games. He had a BA of .406 and an OBP of .484 in 106 at bats per www.maxpreps.com. Booe also had thirty-seven RBIs and crossed home plate himself twenty-three times. He added eight doubles, four home runs, and one triple as well per www.maxpreps.com. On the pitching side of things, Booe was just as effective. In twelve appearances over two seasons Booe had eight starts and pitched thirty innings. He struck out forty-one batters and had an ERA of 2.57 per www.maxpreps.com.

Booe was only with REX Baseball for a short time last season, but he made an impact on the team. Booe reached base five times with the REX as he recorded two hits, he walked three times, and ended the season with a BA of .500. He also scored three runs per baseball.pointstreak.com. As a pitcher he was outstanding for the REX. He appeared in four games and pitched eight innings. He struck out eight batters and ended the season with an impressive 1.12 ERA per baseball.pointstreak.com.

REX Baseball is excited to have Booe back for a second season in the Wabash Valley. We look forward to all that he brings from the batter’s box, the field, and the mound. Welcome back to REX Baseball Brigham Booe! Go #REXNation!
