TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – [June 6, 2023] – Terre Haute REX Baseball would like to extend a big thank you to Rose-Hulman Athletics for a great weekend at Art Nehf Field and being able to accommodate us with a fun opening weekend! The town was full of baseball, and it showcased both the campus of Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
“The REX can't thank Rose-Hulman Athletics enough for accommodating our first three home games at Art Neft Field while the Sycamores hosted the Regionals at Bob Warn Field,” REX GM and part Owner Bruce Rosselli said. “It's good knowing other sports facilities & departments in our community are willing to help out in need. Just as we would to support our local community friends.”
REX Baseball would also like to congratulate Indiana State on advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals! As many fans know, we love taking in our local ISU baseball players, which gives them a chance to play at Bob Warn Field all year round and in front of local fans. The REX will be cheering on Indiana State along with the community, and former Alumni of the REX and Indiana State Baseball! Good luck and punch your ticket to Omaha!
“We are wishing the best for ISU Baseball in their quest for a World Series title, after all, we have several ISU players playing for the REX this season once they win that title!” said Bruce Rosselli. “With that being said, we are pleased to be back at Bob Warn Field for the rest of the REX season, especially with some exciting Theme Nights planned this year. We cannot wait to have the community out all summer long!”
Saturday’s June 10th start time for the REX will be at 6:30 p.m. ET against the Danville Dans with gates opening an hour prior to the first pitch.
Sunday, June 11th will be our original Sunday start at 4:30 p.m. ET against the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes with our gates opening an hour before the first pitch. Sunday will be Open Seat Sunday and Kids Run the Bases postgame! Come grab any seat you’d like with a small hotdog & drink included!
Both games this weekend will be played at Bob Warn Field with our original prices. Children 5 & under get in free. Click here to see ticket prices!
