REX Baseball to Host Doubleheader and ZOOperstars! Appearance Wednesday at Bob Warn Field

Tonight’s scheduled game in Springfield has been postponed. REX Baseball will return to action on Wednesday, July 17, with a doubleheader against the Cape Catfish at Bob Warn Field.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. First pitch for Game One is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. Both games will be seven innings in length, with Game Two beginning approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game One.

In addition to two exciting Prospect League matchups, Wednesday’s event will feature a special appearance by the ZOOperstars!, presented by Ruoff Mortgage and supported by U.S. Lawns. The ZOOperstars! bring a unique mix of sports, comedy, and dance that the entire family can enjoy.

Fans can also take advantage of several great promotions. In honor of National Hot Dog Day, small hot dogs will be available for just two dollars. Additionally, General Admission tickets will be available for just three dollars as part of our “$3 Wednesday” promotion.
