A new rivalry series is coming to the Wabash Valley. REX Baseball and the Lafayette Aviators will be starting the King of the Wabash Ruoff Mortgage Rivalry Series! In the 2022 season the REX and the Aviators will face-off seven times. Whoever wins the season series will be crowned the Kings of the Wabash for the 2022 season and be presented with a trophy. The trophy will travel annually between the winner of the series.

The rivalry starts at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, IN on June 1. The REX will play the Aviators in Lafayette on July 22nd and August 4th as well. Wabash Valley’s Own will take on Lafayette at Bob Warn Field in Terre Haute, IN on June 12th, June 19th, July 8th and July 17th. The REX look forward to the new rivalry series and the excitement it will bring to the 2022 season.
